About Me
Thanks for stopping by.
I’m Kyle. Some people call me KG, and some people just stick with Kyle. I live in Oakland, CA, with my wonderful wife, Ashley, and our two goofy cats, Cookie and Cake.
I love making movies, films, videos, motion pictures – whatever you prefer to call them. When I was a kid, there was no greater treat than getting ahold of a blank VHS tape and my dad’s camcorder for the day. Sometimes I still can’t believe I managed to turn this hobby into a profession.
Similarly, I love music. It might be my favorite art form. It’s certainly the one that gives me the most frisson, as it were. Same deal as above – picture me spinning the Ghostbusters LP on a Fisher Price turntable in my diapers. The love goes back that far. Directing music videos used to feel like a pipe dream, but here I am, making them quite often. I’m a lucky guy!
As a filmmaker, I’ve co-founded two production agencies, traveled all over the world, been a part of film festivals, won awards, and met some of the most brilliant, talented, lovely humans a guy could ever dream of.
